What’s Your Proposal Story?

What's your proposal story? I always love hearing my couple's stories and seeing the ring! It is such a special time & I love sharing in their joy <3

Chad and I got engaged in San Fransisco and it was pretty much the best proposal I could ask for <3 He is a romantic and had the engagement ring for 5+yrs waiting to give it to the right woman. He also had it custom made in NYC diamond district when he lived there. We went to visit one of my best friends in SF and he decided to ask me in the Muir Woods Redwood Forest. I thought possibly he would ask on the trip but had no idea it was going to happen that day... He convinced me to wear a GoPro on my head by saying he would jump out and scare my friend and we could get it on film. I thought that sounded pretty fun...well he had told my friend that he was going to propose. So when he ran ahead on the trail, I kept trying to get her to go in front and she kept trying to let me lead because she knew he was going to propose. 🤣

We were hiking along the trail and I see this cigar box in the middle of the trail and my heart jumps. I think is this it?! Is he going to propose? I open the box and inside there is a porcelain egg and inside the egg there is a........poem. 😝 I pulled it out and read it trying not to show my disappointment. I thought oh nice he is just being romantic. Then from behind a tree a few yards away he came out and got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! I said yes and we hugged and kissed and I spent the rest of the day admiring my ring...until we were leaving a restaurant and I brushed my pants and the ring FLEW OFF INTO THE BUSHES! Yup! I was a fiancé for less than 12hrs and lost my ring?!?! Luckily, the owners of the restaurant brought out a big light and helped Chad, my friend and I search in the dark for me ring. We found it about 40mins later! 🥳👏💍
